Former city policeman Hauke Jacobs wants to start over as a veterinarian in the sleepy seaside town of Schwanitz – but mysterious crimes in the local area keep scuppering his plans.

Much to the delight of hard-bitten policewoman, Lona Vogt, and Jacobs’ receptionist, Jule Christiansen. With her flair for criminal investigations, Jule would love to drop her mundane daily duties and fight crime instead.
